Pay attention to all the details in the mouth, including the lips, tongue, teeth, and gums.

Finish up the chin with quick, short pencil strokes, and add some longer strokes to the left of the mouth to represent some of the long mane. Darken the line above the nose to create the muzzle and add some short lines between the nose and the eyes for wrinkles.

Darken the ear guide and add some short strokes inside the shape for fur. Then use quick strokes for the front part of the lion’s mane.

Use the guides to draw the first two legs. Add a couple of curved lines inside of the paw for the toes, as well as tiny claws. At the top of the front leg, draw a tuft of fur. Also add some detail lines.
